Professional photography shoots available by appointment. A professional photography session is defined as any session where the photographer is poised to profit from the photography shoot or uses professional equipment (beyond a camera) such as tripods, screens, light meters etc.
a) Any professional or amateur photographer is always welcome to take pictures during festival hours if they pay general admission and do not bring any extra equipment beyond a camera/lens or require any exclusivity. This would apply to their groups/clients as well.
b) Any professional or amateur photographer who will be bringing in equipment and requires exclusivity must pay the $50 site fee, and reserve a slot during scheduled "off-hours" .
We are scheduling evening sessions when our fields are less crowded to provide a great experience for you and our guests. Photographers may arrive to set up at 6:30 PM and can shoot from 7 PM to 8 PM (mid-August thru 9/6).
Mini Sessions: Photographers must supply an assistant to meet and escort clients to and from the Sunflower field. This is about a 10-15 minute walk.
