Join Wickham Farms for the opening of New York State's most popular apple variety- Honeycrisp apples- and for our incredibly popular airplane CANDY DROP. An apple peck purchase is required to participate in the CANDY DROP. Families can share an apple bag. Bags will be available for purchase online and at Wickham Farms while supplies last. Wickham Farms Orchard consists of 5,000 pick your own apple trees loaded with easy to reach apples. All apple pickers will enjoy a complimentary hayride tour through Wickham Farms vegetable fields and orchard.
At 2 PM on both Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting), we will gather and watch as an airplane flies over and drops candy into our fields for all apple pickers to collect! Apple peck bag purchase by a member of your party is required to participate in the CANDY DROP. Please allow additional time to park, purchase your apple bags and walk to the candy drop site. We strongly recommend purchasing your apple bags online to save time at check in!
Additional activities include our Giant Corn Maze, Apple Cannons, Right Turn Only Maze, Spider Web play area, and more! To celebrate Honeycrisp apples, we will host a magician (free) from 1 PM to 4 PM at Wickham Farms Main Barn (across Rt 250 from the orchard). All of our usual fall attractions will also be open at the Wickham Farms Main Barn including the jumping pillow, miniature golf course, family corn maze, kiddie train ride, batting cages, farm animals, fresh donuts, ice cream and much more! SAVE ON ADDITIONAL FUN ACTIVITIES BY PURCHASING A FALL FUN PASS OR FALL ULTIMATE FUN PASS!
FUN PASSES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE CANDY DROP!
APPLE BAG PURCHASES ARE NOT DATE SPECIFIC AND CAN BE REDEEMED ANY WEEKEND DAY THAT THE ORCHARD IS OPEN. HONEYCRISP APPLES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO 9/15. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE ORCHARD DUE TO FOOD SAFETY REGULATIONS.
